# OpenMonitor

> A family of open-access, client-side, mobile-friendly scientific viewers and catalogs. Solar physics, atmospheric electricity, scholarly metadata, and verified researcher directories. Everything runs in the browser; no install, no signup.

OpenMonitor (openmonitor.org) is built by Mauricio Romero. It complements institutional services such as SolarMonitor, HEK, CDAW, and CDAWeb by offering reproducible, citation-friendly browser-only views of long-term data, and a curated bibliographic layer on top of SCImago JR.

- **Solar**: NOAA SWPC GOES XRS, HESPERIA mirror of NOAA event lists, NGDC RSTN, MackSUN POEMAS, NASA RHESSI, CDAW CME catalog.
- **PG**: AFINSA network — ICA (Peru), SPA + ATI (Brazil). Real-time streams.
- **Journals**: SCImago Journal & Country Rank 2025 (30,412 journal records), plus a journal-public-safe subset of a manually curated paper corpus (~635 papers, 146 journals, 1,009 topic tags).
